Privacy policy

Thank you for visiting our website and for your interest in our services. We would like to offer you a comprehensive service and at the same time protect your privacy. We assure you that your personal data will be treated confidentially and in accordance with the statutory data protection regulations and this privacy policy.

The legal basis for data protection can be found in the Federal Data Protection Act (BDSG) and the Telemedia Act (TMG).

1. SCOPE OF APPLICATION

This privacy policy applies to the use of the websites offered by CONIUNCTA® under the URL coniuncta.com, hereinafter referred to as "websites". It does not apply to third-party websites, even if our websites refer to third-party websites or information is linked to them.

2. PERSONAL DATA

Personal data is individual information about the personal or factual circumstances of an identified or identifiable natural person. This includes, for example, your name, your e-mail address and your address data as well as the IP address of your device. Information for which we cannot (or only with disproportionate effort) establish a connection to your person, e.g. by anonymizing the information, is not personal data.

3. COLLECTING DATA

When you visit our websites, your web browser automatically transmits the IP address of the device you are using, information about the web browser and operating system you are using, as well as the referrer URL (i.e. the URL of the website you visited previously), the date and time of your visit. This data is temporarily stored in the so-called log files on the server. We or our provider only use this log data for statistical evaluations for the purpose of the operation, security and optimization of our websites. In the event of specific suspicious cases, we will also evaluate this data in order to pursue any cases of misuse and/or illegal use of our websites. However, the data will not be assigned to specific persons and will not be merged with data from other data sources.

The use of our websites is therefore largely anonymous.

Otherwise, we collect and process personal data only insofar as this is necessary for the establishment, execution and termination of the legal obligation between you and us or to safeguard our legitimate interests or if you provide us with data voluntarily in any other way. In particular, we will use your personal data in the context of order processing, for example to send you a corresponding e-mail confirmation of your order and to keep you informed by e-mail about the status of your order. Furthermore, we will share your data with our shipping service provider for the delivery of the ordered goods and with the payment institution responsible for processing the payment. Apart from that, we will only pass on your data to third parties if and insofar as you have consented to the transfer of data, except in the cases specified in this data protection declaration. We use modern security methods to prevent unauthorized disclosure of data to third parties outside our company as far as possible.

4. REGISTRATION

You can set up a personal user account on our websites. The user account enables you to speed up the ordering process and provides you with information about your past orders and access to your settings. To create a user account, please enter the data requested in the corresponding registration form (first and last name or company details, e-mail address, your address and a password of your choice). We use the so-called double opt-in procedure to verify that you are the correct subscriber. This means that your user account will only be created and activated after you have activated a confirmation link that we will send you by e-mail.

When you register, we will also create a user profile for you, in which we may combine and store all your previous and future activities on our websites (e.g. participation in special promotions and competitions, registration for our newsletter, orders, comments and ratings, etc.). You can view the contents of your user profile at any time. If you wish to delete your user account, please contact us. We will then delete all data linked to the user profile.

5. CONTACT

You can contact us by e-mail, telephone or in writing. We also offer you the option of contacting us via our web-based contact form. To enable us to process your request quickly and in the best possible way, we ask for personal data such as your name and e-mail address. You can also enter your individual message to us in the message field.

In this case, we use your personal data exclusively to answer your inquiries to your satisfaction. You are generally free to decide which data you provide us with. However, we ask for your understanding that we will not process any further contact requests if they are incomplete or obviously incorrect.

6. COMMENTS AND RATINGS

You can leave comments and ratings about our products on our websites. We ask you to enter your name and e-mail address. We will also record and store your IP address. The retrieval and storage of this data is for our security, just in case a user spreads unauthorized comments and postings, e.g. insults or forbidden political propaganda. In this case, we could be held liable for this unauthorized comment. We are therefore interested in identifying or helping to identify the true author of the comment in question.

7. NEWSLETTER

In our newsletter, which you can subscribe to if you are interested, we will inform you at regular intervals about our range, in particular about new products and promotions and other news on the subject of high-quality cosmetics.

If you would like to receive our newsletter, we need your e-mail address and confirmation that you are the owner of the e-mail address provided and that you agree to receive the newsletter. When you register, we also save your IP address and the date and time of your registration. This is for our security in case a third party misuses your e-mail address and subscribes to our newsletter without your consent. We do not collect any other data. Your data is only collected for the purpose of being able to send you the newsletter and to document our authorization to do so. The data will not be passed on to third parties. We will also not compare the data with other data that we collect elsewhere as part of your use of our websites. However, we will note your registration in your customer account.

You can revoke your subscription to the newsletter and your consent to the storage of your e-mail address at any time with effect for the future by clicking on the corresponding unsubscribe link in the newsletter or by sending us your unsubscribe request by e-mail to info@coniuncta.com.

8. COOKIES

Our websites work with so-called "cookies". Cookies are small pieces of information that your browser automatically stores in your computer's memory. Cookies differ in terms of how long they are stored. The storage period for the cookies we use varies between the period of the current browser session on our websites (so-called session cookie) up to several days and years.

Cookies serve different functionalities. The cookies we use are necessary for the user-friendliness of the websites. For example, a cookie can "remember" the settings you have made and the contents of your virtual shopping cart so that you do not have to re-enter them each time. In addition, the cookies we use are mainly used for analysis purposes, which enable us to evaluate user behavior on our websites and thus continuously improve our websites.

We use cookies that cannot be used across domains (so-called first-party cookies) as well as cookies that can be used and read by other domains (so-called third-party cookies).

Most browsers are preset to accept cookies automatically. You can deactivate the storage of cookies or set your browser so that it notifies you before cookies are stored. Users who do not accept cookies may not be able to use certain services on our websites or may not be able to access certain areas of our websites.

9. SOCIAL PLUGINS

We use so-called "social plugins" on our websites. These are currently the plugins of the services facebook, twitter, google+ and pinterest. Under certain circumstances, information, which may also include personal data, is sent to the social media providers via these plugins and may be used by them. We prevent the unconscious and unwanted collection and transmission of data to the service providers by means of a "2-click solution". To activate a desired plugin, it must first be activated by clicking on the corresponding button. Only this activation of the plugin triggers the collection of information and its transmission to the service provider. We do not collect any personal data ourselves by means of the social plugins or through their use.

To the best of our knowledge and according to the information provided by the social media services, they do not collect and store any personal data as long as you are not logged into your social media account and as long as you have not activated the plugin. Only when you are connected to your account and have activated the plugin as described can your browser transmit specific information, such as posts on our websites, comments, your IP address and other information to the social media provider's servers. The social media provider can record and store this information, assign it to your user account and the personal data stored there and make it available to the public. In some cases, the social media providers store a cookie on your device to record and track your surfing behavior on our websites. Please note that we have no influence whatsoever on the data collected by the respective social media provider.

10. GOOGLE PRODUCTS

a) Google Analytics

Our websites use Google Analytics, a web analytics service provided by Google Inc, 1600 Amphitheatre Parkway, Mountain View, CA 94043 USA (hereinafter referred to as "Google"). Google Analytics uses "cookies", which are stored on your computer and enable us to analyze the use of our websites. For this purpose, some personal data is collected by Google and forwarded to its servers in the United States of America. Google uses this information to evaluate your use of the website and to compile reports on this data. The IP address transmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.

IP anonymization is activated by default on our websites. Your IP address will be shortened beforehand by Google within the member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area and passed on to Google in anonymized form. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to Google and shortened there.

You can prevent the storage of cookies by selecting the appropriate settings in your browser software. However, you may then not be able to use our websites to their full extent. In addition, you can prevent the collection of data generated by the cookie and related to your use of the websites (including your IP address) to Google and the processing of this data by Google by downloading and installing the browser plug-in available at the following link: http://tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout?hl=en

b) Google AdWords/Re-Marketing and Google AdSense/DoubleClick

We also use Google's services for usage-based online advertising on your computer.

These services allow anonymous recognition of your browser and thus collect information about your activities on the websites you visit (e.g. surfing behavior, subpages of our website visited, etc.). This data is used to create user profiles under a pseudonym, which do not allow any conclusions to be drawn about your person and therefore no personal identification.

The information generated by the cookies about your use of this website (including your IP address) and delivery of advertising formats is transferred to a Google server in the USA and stored there. Google may also transfer this information to third parties where required to do so by law, or where such third parties process the information on Google's behalf. However, Google will not merge your IP address with other data stored by you.

Google will use this information for the purpose of evaluating your use of the website, compiling reports on website activity for website operators and providing other services relating to website activity and internet usage.

This process allows anonymous retargeting on the one hand (as part of the "Google Remarketing" or "Google AdWords" products) on Google's websites and on the other hand (as part of the "Google AdSense" or "Doubleclick" products) on our websites and - depending on your interests - when you visit websites of other partners. Your browser is identified when advertising is delivered and assigned to a target group. This information is used to enable the targeted delivery of advertisements that are more relevant and interesting for you.

You can object to the collection and storage of data by Google at any time with effect for the future by going to your Google display settings at www.google.de/settings/ads and deactivating the display of interest-based advertising by Google under "Deactivation settings". This will prevent Google from displaying targeted advertising to you. An opt-out cookie will then be set to prevent the future collection of your data when you visit this website. Please note that if you delete all cookies, the deactivation cookie will also be deleted and must be saved again if necessary.
