Our Extraction Process: AVE Technology

The CONIUNCTA® AVE technology (Adaptive Vacuum Extraction) forms the technological foundation of our production. The process enables extraction under reduced pressure and controlled temperature conditions, optimal for obtaining thermolabile active substances without loss of quality. The result is extracts with high bioactive potency and reproducible specifications.

Liquid Extracts: Carrier Systems for Cosmetics and Food

Our liquid extracts are offered in various carrier media to ensure optimal compatibility with different formulation concepts:

• Glycerin-based: Natural Origin Index 1.0, COSMOS-compliant, food-grade. Preferred for natural cosmetics, clean beauty formulations and functional beverages.
• Propylene Glycol-based: excellent solubilising properties, food grade, cost-effective. Established in mass-market formulations.
• Pentylene Glycol-based: multifunctional carrier system with antimicrobial support. Enables reduction of conventional preservation systems.
• Lipophilic oil extracts: based on Jojoba Oil, Squalane and Sunflower Oil. Designed for anhydrous formulations, oil serums and rich care products.

Each carrier variant is documented by a dedicated Technical Data Sheet, with full INCI declaration, CAS and EINECS numbers, Natural Origin Index and regulatory status in accordance with the EU Cosmetics Regulation (EG) Nr. 1223/2009 and the EU Food Information Regulation (EU) Nr. 1169/2011.

Powder Extracts: for Food Supplements and Functional Food

The powder extract portfolio addresses the requirements of the NEM industry, functional food manufacturers and producers of pharmaceutical precursors, suitable for capsules, tablets, powder blends, bars and beverage powders. The extracts are produced with defined extract ratios (DER 4:1 to 50:1); standardised active ingredient contents are available depending on the application.

Contract Development and Contract Manufacturing

In addition to its standard range, CONIUNCTA offers comprehensive capacities for the contract development and toll manufacturing of customer-specific extracts, for cosmetic and food applications alike. We view contract manufacturing as a strategic partnership, from joint specification development through to long-term supply.

• Custom extract development: Adaptation of carrier medium, active ingredient concentration, extraction method and organoleptic properties to customer specification.
• Private label and own brand: Packaging and labelling under your brand, including complete regulatory documentation.
• Flexible scaling: from development samples (from 1 kg) to industrial series production, with short lead times thanks to in-house capacities.
• Scientific support: Assistance with stability studies, efficacy substantiation and the development of cosmetic or health claims.

Product Portfolio

The range comprises over 400 botanical extracts, from classics such as Chamomilla Recutita, Camellia Sinensis and Calendula Officinalis to the premium specialities of the CONIUNCTA® PRO line (caviar, truffle and saffron extracts as well as rare orchid species). For the food and NEM industry we carry adaptogens such as Ashwagandha and Rhodiola, classic medicinal plants and modern superfoods.

Quality and Certifications

Production takes place under GMP-compliant conditions with documented batch traceability: COSMOS and NaTrue conformity, Natural Origin Index to ISO 16128, BSE/TSE freedom, SVHC monitoring in accordance with the ECHA Candidate List, full REACH compliance and HACCP-compliant processes for food-grade products.
