What extracts does CONIUNCTA® offer?
CONIUNCTA® offers two fundamental product variants: water-soluble and oil-soluble extracts.
Water-soluble extracts are designed for water-based formulations. They are preserved for microbiological reasons; the agents used (Pentylene Glycol, Propylene Glycol, Glycerin) additionally provide moisture and strengthen the skin barrier.
Oil-soluble extracts are dissolved in oil and require no additional preservatives, as they are microbiologically non-critical — ideal for natural preservation and sensitive skin.

- Pentylene Glycol: multifunctional, moisturising, antimicrobial, improves texture and sensory properties.
- Propylene Glycol: moisturising, stabilising, supports the penetration of other active ingredients, cooling and soothing.
- Glycerin: natural moisturiser, binds water, improves elasticity and skin healing, particularly suitable for dry and sensitive skin.

- Jojoba oil: liquid wax, skin-like, moisturising, absorbs quickly, no greasy residue.
- Squalane: lightweight oil derived from olives or sugar cane, non-comedogenic, improves elasticity, antioxidant protection.
- Sunflower oil: rich in vitamin E and essential fatty acids, protects against free radicals, supports regeneration.

- Recommended use concentration: refer to the respective product.
- Application in creams, lotions and serums to enhance efficacy.
- Can be combined e. g. with vitamin C, hyaluronic acid or retinol.

24 months when stored in dry conditions between 10 and 30 °C in the original sealed packaging.

Changes in colour and slight turbidity may occur, but do not affect product quality.

Many of our extracts are suitable for food applications and comply with EU Regulation (EU) Nr. 1169/2011. Suitability is noted on each TDS; not all extracts are approved for food use, so always consult the product-specific documentation.
Can the extracts be used in food supplements (NEM)?
Can the extracts be used in food supplements (NEM)?
Yes. Our food-grade extracts are suitable for:
- Capsules and tablets (powder extracts based on maltodextrin)
- Liquid supplements (water-soluble extracts in glycerin)
- Softgels (oil-soluble extracts)
