INCI: 3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. EFFECTICS® Ethyl ascorbic acid (3-O-Ethyl Ascorbic Acid) is a water-soluble, stabilized vitamin C derivative with superior oxidation resistance. The ethyl group protects the active vitamin C structure and ensures continuous release in the skin.
Application in the cosmetics industry
In the cosmetics industry, EFFECTICS® ethyl ascorbic acid is used for brightening, hyperpigmentation treatment and collagen stimulation. Its stability allows formulations over a wide pH range (4-7). Typical applications include brightening serums, anti-aging creams and sun protection products.
