Oil base

Oil-based plant extracts, also known as oil macerates or oil infusions, are produced by extracting plant material in a carrier oil. The oil-soluble constituents of the plant pass into the oil. We use sunflower oil, jojoba oil and squalane as carrier oils. A plant oil extract of this kind can be worked directly into lipophilic systems: facial oils, balms, salves, lip care and other anhydrous formulations.

The category comprises 24 raw materials and ranges from classic oil infusions for cosmetics such as calendula oil extract, black cumin oil extract and frankincense oil extract, through current raw materials such as bakuchiol oil extract (Bakuchi Fruit Extract), paracress oil extract (Acmella Oleracea Extract) and gotu kola oil extract (Centella Asiatica Extract), to the CONIUNCTA® PRO line with specialities such as saffron, truffle and caviar oil extract.
