Nuremberg, September 2, 2026. CONIUNCTA GmbH has been awarded the Platinum medal by EcoVadis, a globally leading provider of sustainability ratings for companies. With this result, CONIUNCTA ranks among the top 1% of all companies rated by EcoVadis over the past twelve months (99th percentile). The rating was published on September 2, 2026 and is valid until September 2027.
Basis of the Assessment
EcoVadis evaluates a company's sustainability management based on 21 criteria across four themes: Environment, Labor and Human Rights, Ethics, and Sustainable Procurement. The methodology is grounded in international standards, including the ten principles of the UN Global Compact, the conventions of the International Labour Organization (ILO), the GRI Standards, and ISO 26000. The assessment takes into account policies, implemented measures, and results achieved, each supported by documentation. More than 130,000 companies worldwide have completed this assessment process.
Sustainability as Part of Corporate Governance
This was CONIUNCTA GmbH's first EcoVadis assessment. In preparation, the company systematically documented its management system: policies on sustainable procurement, environment, human rights, and business ethics, a supplier code of conduct, whistleblower procedures, information security, occupational safety, as well as employee training.
As a manufacturer of botanical extracts, CONIUNCTA sources plant-based raw materials for processing at its Nuremberg site. The responsible sourcing of these raw materials is a key lever of the company's sustainability management. EcoVadis weights this theme accordingly, and a significant part of the preparation focused on this area.
