Burdock powder extract is a water soluble plant extract from the root of the greater burdock (Arctium lappa). The burdock extract carries the INCI name Arctium Lappa Root Extract (CAS 84012-13-5) and is characterised by the lead marker arctiin. As a 10:1 powder extract, it comes in a concentrated, dry form for cosmetic and food applications.
