Application in cosmetics
The recommended use concentration is 0.5 to 2 %. The raw material is suitable for all cosmetic variants and is used for its antioxidant properties in care formulations. Typical areas of application are facial serums, eye creams and lip care. Since the extract is supplied unpreserved, the preservation system in the finished product must be defined during formulation.
Application in food
The cranberry powder extract can be used under food law. Thanks to its dispersibility in water, it can be incorporated into functional beverages and dietary supplements. The sour taste that is typical of cranberry should be taken into account when developing the recipe of the finished product.
