FAQ
FAQ
Please read our FAQ.
Neem Leaf Extract is a plant-based liquid extract from the leaves of the neem tree (Azadirachta indica). Its INCI name is Azadirachta Indica Leaf Extract (CAS 84696-25-3). The lead marker is azadirachtin, accompanied by nimbin, quercetin and further bitter compounds from the limonoid group.
Production
Extraction uses CONIUNCTA's Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE), Made in Germany. The extract content is around 30 %. One kilogram of extract contains the hydrophilic constituents of roughly 35 g of dried or about 220 g of fresh plant material. As an aqueous extract, the raw material is free of essential oils and therefore free of fragrance allergens subject to declaration. The available carrier variants are glycerin, propylene glycol and pentylene glycol, with glycol-based preservation.
