Orchid extract (INCI: Orchis Morio Extract) is a liquid plant extract from the European wild orchid Orchis morio. The extract contains glucomannans and plant mucilage and is supplied as a raw material for the cosmetics industry. Anyone looking to buy Orchis Morio Extract receives a liquid extract with a defined extract content from CONIUNCTA, produced in Germany.
Manufacturing
The extract is obtained using Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE) and produced in Germany. It is available in three carrier variants: based on Glycerin, Propylene Glycol or Pentylene Glycol, each with Aqua (Water). The extract content is approximately 30 %. 1 kg of extract contains the hydrophilic components of approximately 35 g of dried or approximately 220 g of fresh plant parts.
