FAQ
FAQ
Please read our FAQ.
Wound Clover Extract is an aqueous plant extract from the yellow flowers of the European wound clover (Anthyllis vulneraria). The INCI name is Anthyllis Vulneraria Flower Extract, and the primary markers are saponins. The extract is free from essential oils and therefore free from declarable fragrance allergens.
Production
Extraction is carried out using CONIUNCTA's Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE) in Germany (Made in Germany). The extract content is around 30 % regardless of the variant. One kilogram of extract contains the hydrophilic components of about 35 g of dried or around 220 g of fresh plant material. Glycerin, Propylene Glycol or Pentylene Glycol are available as carriers, and the product is glycol-based preserved.

As the extract is water-soluble, it is easy to incorporate into the water phase.
Use in food
The Glycerin variant is suitable for food applications. In the ingredient list, the carrier is declared as Glycerin. The specific dosage depends on the respective formulation.
