Beet powder extract (Beta vulgaris) is a plant-based powder extract at a 10:1 ratio with the INCI name Beta Vulgaris Root Extract. Its key marker is betanin (betacyanin), the red betalain pigment of the beetroot. Formulators and purchasers often search for this raw material as beetroot extract or beetroot powder and use it primarily for the natural coloring of cosmetics and food.
Production
The production process is based on adaptive vacuum extraction (AVE). The result is a fine powder that dissolves well in water and is supplied unpreserved. The raw material is Designed in Germany.
