FAQ

Broccoli Extract (INCI: Brassica Oleracea Italica Extract) is an aqueous plant extract from broccoli (Brassica oleracea var. italica). Its characteristic marker is sulforaphane, formed from the glucosinolate glucoraphanin. CONIUNCTA supplies this raw material as a clear liquid for the cosmetics and food industries.
Production
The extract is obtained using CONIUNCTA's Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE) and manufactured in Germany (Made in Germany). Three carrier variants are available: based on Glycerin, Propylene Glycol or Pentylene Glycol, each with Aqua. The extract content is around 30%. One kilogram of extract contains the hydrophilic constituents of about 35 g of dried or 220 g of fresh plant parts.
