One sample per customer and article; for PRO extracts the sample is considerably smaller than 250 g (approx. 50 g). With the sample you receive a code that credits €49 towards your next purchase. Camu Camu powder extract is obtained from the fruit of Myrciaria dubia and carries the INCI name Myrciaria Dubia Fruit Extract. The lead marker of this powder extract is Ascorbic acid (vitamin C). As a 10:1 extract, Camu Camu comes in a concentrated, water-dispersible powder form for cosmetics and for food supplements.

Use in cosmetics
For cosmetic formulations, a use concentration of 0.5 to 2 % is indicated. Because the powder extract is dispersible in water, it is suitable for water-based formulations such as serums and skin care formulations. The raw material is suitable for all cosmetic variants.
Use in food
The powder extract can be used under food law. Food supplements only: the EU Novel Food Catalogue (POL-NF-00526) lists this plant part as not novel only in food supplements. The tart flavour profile requires an adjustment of the recipe. Dispersibility in water makes it easier to incorporate into liquid and powdered applications.
