FAQ
Please read our FAQ.
Cremastra Orchid Extract is a water-soluble plant extract obtained from the orchid Cremastra appendiculata, known in traditional Chinese medicine as "Shan Ci Gu". Under the INCI name Cremastra Appendiculata Extract, the raw material is offered for moisturizing cosmetic formulations aimed at mature skin.
Production
CONIUNCTA produces the extract in Germany (Made in Germany) using Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE). Regardless of the carrier variant, the extract content is around 30 percent. One kilogram of extract contains the hydrophilic or lipophilic components of about 35 g of dried or about 220 g of fresh plant parts. Available carriers are glycerin, propylene glycol or pentylene glycol on an aqueous base. Preservation is glycol-based. Certified organic material is processed by preference.
