One sample per customer and article; for PRO extracts the sample is considerably smaller than 250 g (approx. 50 g). With the sample you receive a code that credits €49 towards your next purchase. Devil's claw powder extract is a plant extract obtained from the root of the devil's claw (Harpagophytum procumbens). Its lead marker is harpagoside, a characteristic iridoid glycoside. The INCI name is Harpagophytum Procumbens Root Extract and the CAS number is 84988-65-8.

Use in cosmetics
For cosmetic formulations a use concentration of 0.5 to 2 % is recommended. According to its release, the extract is suitable for all types of cosmetic applications. Thanks to its dispersibility in water, the powder can be incorporated into aqueous systems such as gels, lotions and emulsions.
Use in food
The powder extract can be used under food law. For food supplements only: the EU Novel Food Catalogue (POL-NF-00393) lists this plant part as not novel only in food supplements. As a fine, water-dispersible and vegan powder, it can be incorporated into capsule and tablet formulations. The raw material is supplied unpreserved.
