Gundelrebe Extract is a water-soluble liquid extract from ground ivy (Glechoma hederacea), also known as creeping charlie. The INCI name is Glechoma Hederacea Extract, and rosmarinic acid (Rosmarinic acid) serves as the lead marker. The raw material carries the CAS number 84650-18-0.
Production
Production uses the Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE technology) developed by CONIUNCTA, Made in Germany. The extract is available in three water-based carrier variants: glycerin, propylene glycol or pentylene glycol. No preservative is added; in the propylene glycol and pentylene glycol variants, the carrier has an antimicrobial effect. The extract content is around 30%.
