FAQ
FAQ
Please read our FAQ.
Jasmine Extract is an aqueous liquid extract from the flowers of Jasminum officinale. The INCI name is Jasminum Officinale (Jasmine) Flower Extract. The extract contains jasmone, benzyl acetate, linalool and indole. Its characteristic fragrance makes jasmine one of the most valuable raw materials in perfumery. Since the aqueous extract is free from essential oils, it contains no declarable fragrance allergens.
Production
CONIUNCTA produces the Jasmine Extract using AVE technology (Adaptive Vacuum Extraction), made in Germany. The extract content is approx. 30 %. 1 kg of extract contains the hydrophilic or lipophilic constituents of approx. 35 g of dried or approx. 220 g of fresh plant parts. Three carrier variants are available: glycerin, propylene glycol or pentylene glycol. The raw material is sourced from Europe and the rest of the world, with certified organic material preferred.

Because the extract contains no essential oils, it can be incorporated into formulations without adding declarable fragrance allergens.
Use in food
The glycerin variant is suitable for food applications. Jasmine is established in the food sector as jasmine tea, and its use in desserts and flavored products is also documented. Regulatory status: food (tea).
