FAQ
FAQ
Please read our FAQ.
Lavender Extract is an aqueous plant extract obtained from the flowers of true lavender (Lavandula angustifolia). The lavender extract carries the INCI name Lavandula Angustifolia (Lavender) Flower Extract and the CAS number 90063-37-9. As a water-soluble extract it is free from essential oils and therefore free from declarable fragrance allergens.
Production
The extract is produced by CONIUNCTA in Germany using Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE) (Made in Germany). It is available in three carrier variants: based on Glycerin, Propylene Glycol or Pentylene Glycol. The extract content is around 30 percent regardless of the variant. One kilogram of extract contains the hydrophilic constituents of about 35 g of dried or about 220 g of fresh plant material.
