Use in cosmetics
The typical use concentration is 2 to 5 %. Since the powder dissolves readily in water, it can be incorporated into the water phase of emulsions and into aqueous formulations. The raw material is used in formulations for sensitive skin, in baby care, regenerating care and lip care. The golden yellow to light brown inherent color should be taken into account in light-colored formulations. A storage-related color change cannot be ruled out.
Use in food
The raw material is suitable for food applications in all variants. As a water-soluble powder, it can be dosed into liquid and powdered formulations. The inherent color of the extract should be considered when designing the recipe.
