FAQ
FAQ
Please read our FAQ.
Noble Orchid Extract (INCI: Cymbidium Goeringii Extract) is a liquid botanical extract from Cymbidium goeringii, the orchid revered in Japan as Shunran. The orchid extract contains polysaccharides, phenolic compounds and amino acids and is used in skin care formulations. CONIUNCTA supplies the raw material in several carrier variants for the cosmetics industry.
Production
The extract is obtained with CONIUNCTA's Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE technology) and produced in Germany (Made in Germany). The extract content is around 30% regardless of the variant. One kilogram of extract contains the hydrophilic or lipophilic constituents of around 35 g of dried or around 220 g of fresh plant parts.
Available carriers are glycerin, propylene glycol or pentylene glycol, each in combination with water. Preservation is glycol-based. The aqueous extract is free from essential oils and therefore free from declarable fragrance allergens.
