Yarrow Extract (INCI: Achillea Millefolium Extract, CAS 84082-83-7) is an aqueous plant extract from yarrow (Achillea millefolium). Characteristic constituents are chamazulene, flavonoids, bitter substances and achillein. CONIUNCTA supplies the yarrow extract as a liquid B2B raw material for the cosmetics and food industries.
Production
The extract is obtained with CONIUNCTA's Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE) and produced in Germany (Made in Germany). It is available in three carrier variants: based on glycerin, propylene glycol or pentylene glycol. The extract content is around 30% regardless of the variant. One kilogram of extract contains the hydrophilic constituents of around 35 g of dried or around 220 g of fresh plant material.
