CONIUNCTA® PRO CPG-02 Almas Caviar Extract is a caviar extract for the cosmetics and food industries. It is obtained from the golden roe of the albino sterlet (Acipenser ruthenus), a rare albino caviar. The aqueous extract (INCI: Caviar Extract) contains omega-3 fatty acids, phospholipids and amino acids.
Manufacturing
The extract is produced with AVE technology (Adaptive Vacuum Extraction), made in Germany. Regardless of the variant, the extract content is around 30%. Three carrier variants are available: glycerin as well as water with propylene glycol or pentylene glycol. Preservation is glycol based. The raw material is free from essential oils and therefore free from declarable fragrance allergens.

Cosmetic use
The use level is 2 to 5%. Thanks to its good water solubility, the extract can be incorporated directly into aqueous phases. In cosmetics, caviar extract is used as a nourishing and moisturizing raw material, typically in serums, face creams and anti-aging formulations for luxury care as well as in products for spa treatments. All carrier variants are suitable for cosmetic use. Regulatory framework: Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009.
Food use
For food applications, the variant with the glycerin carrier is intended. The regulatory status is food or food supplement. The respective carrier is declared in the ingredient list, glycerin for the food variant.
