Heavenly Hanf Orchid Extract is a liquid plant extract from the chlorophyll-free orchid Gastrodia elata, known as Tian Ma in Traditional Chinese Medicine. The INCI name is Gastrodia Elata Root Extract; as characteristic constituents, the orchid extract contains gastrodin, gastrodioside and vanillyl alcohol. CONIUNCTA supplies this raw material exclusively for the cosmetics industry.
Manufacturing
The extract is obtained using CONIUNCTA's Adaptive Vacuum Extraction (AVE) and is Made in Germany. The extract content is around 30 percent regardless of the variant. 1 kg of extract contains the hydrophilic or lipophilic components of about 35 g of dried or 220 g of fresh plant parts. The available carriers are Glycerin, Propylene Glycol and Pentylene Glycol on an Aqua (Water) base; preservation is glycol-based. More on AVE technology.
