The Anti-Aging and Pro-Age category brings together more than one hundred plant extracts and active ingredients for formulating skincare products in the mature skin segment. The range spans botanical extracts such as gotu kola (Centella Asiatica), grape seed and bakuchiol, Squalane and Pentylene Glycol from the BIOLISSE® line, and specialty raw materials such as caviar extract, astaxanthin and EFFECTICS® Ethyl Ascorbic Acid. These anti-aging plant extracts are available as water-soluble extracts, oil extracts and powder extracts, for example at a 10:1 ratio.

Raw materials for formulators and purchasing

The actives are aimed at developers of cosmetic products as well as informed users who want to source individual extracts. A 10:1 extract is a concentrate in which ten parts of plant material are reduced to one part of extract. Carriers such as glycerin, pentylene glycol or maltodextrin determine solubility and processing. Every raw material carries a complete INCI declaration, so pro-age actives for cosmetics can be slotted directly into existing formulations.
